One of a few videos I did showing how I refinished my daughters French Provincial Furniture ;) First I sanded the rough paint chips to a smooth finish. I then applied furniture appliques with waterproof wood glue holding it in place with tape till it dried. Then I added a bonding primer - two coats. A BONDING primer allows you to apply paint to a previously painted surface without stripping/sanding the entire surface. Next I lightly sanded the primer to smooth the edges. Last, I applied a glossy paint - two coats. With the hardware, I boiled it in water with baking soda for 30 minutes, This allows the paint to fall off easily.
